Program ManagerHybrid (Flexible) - Indianapolis, IN6 - 12 month+ CTHSummaryBrooksource is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager in the IT space to support one of our clients in the Retail + Merchandising space. The IT Program Manager is responsible for managing the Inventory Accuracy efforts and program. This individual is responsible for coaching project teams on Agile principles to deliver successful programs while building a sustainable agile culture across the client's IT organization.ResponsibilitiesOrganizes programs and projects within organizational directives.Works with stakeholders to evaluate programs within the product roadmapPlans and manages work streams impacting enterprise-wide IT solutions within a complex program.Organizes and facilitates program ceremonies, including but not limited to, design and planning sessions, Scrum of Scrums, developer sessions, and Leadership meetings.Determine optimal approach to managing project dependencies and roadblocks and work cross-functionally with other departments to mitigate risks Serves as an escalation point for product teams within the program.Communicates the health and status of programs to stakeholders and leadership.Transparently communicates progress with risk and escalations at all levels throughout the organization as the audience changes.Leads and drives program execution for distributed project teams in partnership with IT Application Development, Engineering, Product Owners, Operations, 3rd Party Vendors and other cross functional groups to deliver successful business outcomes.Manages multiple concurrent work streams (cross-functional initiatives) effectively and facilitates SCRUM best practices for cross functional efforts.Collaborates with Product Owners/Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure the program team is meeting its goals.Guide and mentor teams on how to use Agile/SCRUM best practices and principles to enhance the end customer's experience and improve productivity.Promotes continuous and open conversations across IT to continue building transparency and cross collaboration.Additional duties and projects as required.Required Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent5 - 7 years of project/program management for software development teams, including experience implementing Agile methodologies and SCRUM principles, or equivalent combination of education or experienceIn depth understanding of Agile values, principles, and the Scrum framework.Understand fundamentals of iterative & incremental developmentUnderstands IT backlog grooming, tracking, burndown/burn-up charts, velocity, and task definition.Understands long-term product planning in an empirical environment and techniques to become more effective.Scrum Master certificationExperience with the Atlassian suite and Jira software experienceAbout EEG: Eight Eleven Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
