Ryerson offers a dynamic, quality-focused, environment, ideal for advancing your career and making your mark in the metals industry.As an Outside Sales Manager you are responsible for driving territory sales and facilitating growth within your perspective market and accounts.Roles and Responsibilities:Meets or exceeds sales goals and profit margin targets established within the marketDevelop and execute a sales program that reflects a strong understanding of what drives profitabilityForecasts sales and profits while being held accountable for performance on a consistent basisPrepares strategically defined sales plans and programs to expand the company's sales volume aggressively and profitably in its defined marketsMakes sales call to customers to help secure business and improve profitabilityTrain, coach, and mentor territory managers to drive sales performance and achieve market share profit objectivesProvides the General Manager with regular guidance on pricing, customer service, inventory management, and plant scheduling to achieve volume and margin objectivesShows commercial expertise by understanding competitors and how best to position our client's offer against themBuilds credibility and trust with current and potential customers by providing excellent customer service and leading by exampleDrives a culture that will respond quickly to resolve customer concernsAll other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticeRequirements:Bachelor's degree required3-5 years sales management experienceProfessional, leadership-oriented imageExcellent oral and written communication skillsAssertive, competitive and goal orientedWilling to travel up to travel up to 75%Salary $97,024.40 - $145,536.60 annually.
