Bartender PositionBartenders are in charge of their section behind the bar as well as on the floor. Pouring craft beer, wine and mixing cocktails for guests and creating a lively environment. Candidates will be responsible for building a culture based around teamwork, execution and fun. They will be participating in all day to day operations and operating with a strong sense of hospitality. We are looking for passionate industry professionals.Responsibilities:Greets guests in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcomeGuide guests through all phases of their experience at our venueExhibit proper knowledge, bartending techniques and delivery of food and beverage offeringsDescribe food and beverage features on a daily basis.Oversee bar maintenance and coordinate service at the bar with fellow team membersWork alongside barbacks in clearing and barWork with a sense of urgency at all times to provide anticipatory service which anticipates the guests' needs and appreciates the fine details of serviceCommunicate with management regarding all customer needs comments or incidentsFollow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and health department following all health and safety regulationsPerform all opening and closing duties as assignedOther Functions:Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisorComplying with health and food safety standards, restocking items, and cleaningOperating the cash register, answering the phone, providing great customer service, and following company policies & proceduresTake on other responsibilities as assigned by managementPhysical Functions:Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as neededMust be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as neededBe able to lift up to 30+ pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasionWill frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, use stairs, finely manipulate and key in dataWork in both warm and cool environmentsHigh levels of noise from music, customer and employee trafficMust be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfishRequirements:Should have at least 2 years of full-service, high volume bartending experienceShould have in depth knowledge of food, wine, beer and liquorsMust be at least 21 years of age to bartendIs able to communicate positively and efficientlyA team player with a positive attitudeRespectful and remains calm under pressureIs organized, efficient and able to maintain a clean work environmentMust have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts on our businessCertifications:Basset CertificationFood Handlers CertificationCompensation Details:Compensation: $15.79/hr plus $25-35 hourly in tips.Benefits dependent on eligibilityDepartment: Front of HouseReports to: General ManagerStatus: Variable HourFLSA Code: Non-exemptLocation: Denver
