Role OverviewWe are looking for a creative, data-centric Quality Assurance Engineer who goes beyond simple UI testing. You aren't just checking if a button works-you are validating the data engines that power our Life Insurance and Annuity products.You will use modern AI tools (such as Cursor and Claude) to write test scripts more efficiently and leverage frameworks like Playwright to ensure complex configurations are accurate and reliable.What You'll DoData-Centric TestingCreate and manage complex data sets to test insurance quoting engines and logic.Understand data flow, data maintenance, and how configuration changes impact system output.AI-Driven AutomationUse AI coding assistants to write and optimize automated test scripts efficiently.Test EngineeringBuild and execute automated test scripts using Playwright (primary).Contribute toward a future testing state that includes SeleniumTest ManagementOrganize and track testing cycles using Zephyr within the Atlassian/Jira ecosystem.Problem SolvingAnalyze business problems to understand the "how" and "why."Design tests that proactively uncover system weaknesses before users do.The Ideal CandidateIndustry ContextExperience in Life Insurance or Annuities is highly preferred.Technical SkillsStrong proficiency with Playwright and ZephyrFamiliarity with Selenium is a strong plus.AI NativeComfortable using AI tools (e.g., ClaudeCursor) to accelerate coding and problem-solving.Data SkillsSolid understanding of SQL / SOQL to query data and validate backend logic.CommunicationNative-level English proficiency to collaborate effectively in a high-touch, in-person environment.
