Maintenance Supervisor Trainee

Our success is driven by our people and our family spirit, which we believe is the key to our achievements.The Maintenance Trainee will undergo comprehensive, hands-on training in various roles within our Maintenance Shop. As you progress, you'll gain the skills necessary to manage shifts and operational areas effectively. This training will cover crucial aspects such as safety, quality, efficiency, service, and delivery. Upon completion of training, trainees will have the opportunity to supervise different shifts and departments. You will also work on assignments that assess your knowledge, such as writing reports, watching management videos, and recommending improvements to operational procedures. Participation in the ODTDT/Class B Training program will be included, allowing you to earn a CDL/Class B license, alongside forklift training and leadership development courses.Key Responsibilities:Complete shift manager training under the guidance of an experienced manager. Participate in maintenance job training to gain knowledge and production experience across all shop roles. Serve as a supervisor in various shifts and departments as necessary. Develop and implement new indicators and process improvements for the department. Collaborate with the parts manager and shop supervisor to ensure timely repairs of equipment. Assist in creating the shop budget. Write and submit monthly activity reports. Delegate tasks to employees according to the daily schedule. Make informed decisions rapidly based on workload and communicate schedules to affected employees. Inspect tools and equipment for safe operation and rectify any unsafe conditions. Address employee inquiries regarding company policies. Attend all training sessions and meetings. Open to relocation upon completion of the trainee program. Qualifications:Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/Technology. Accepted: Two-year Technical degree in Maintenance or related field with relevant experience. Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel (15%) to various maintenance locations for training and supervision. Proficient in computer software (WORD, EXCEL). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Solid work history is a plus. Compensation:The salary range for this position is $62,400 - $65,520, dependent on factors such as experience, market conditions, and relevant skills.Join the OD family today!
