Title-Medical Assistant (MA) – OBGYN | AAH Mayfair North, Wauwatosa, WILocation: 3289 N Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa, WI 53222Setting: Outpatient OBGYN clinic within a multi-specialty medical buildingPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy OBGYN clinic. This role involves assisting providers with patient care, procedures, and clinical tasks while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment and delivering excellent patient care.Clinic & Patient Details4–5 OBGYN exam rooms; 12 total procedure/exam rooms~20 patients per provider; ~60 patients dailyPatient mix: ~60% GYN, 40% OBCommon visits: prenatal care, postpartum follow-ups, annual exams, pap smears, GYN concernsIn-office procedures: Nexplanon implants, IUD insertion/removal, colposcopies, EMBsKey ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and obtain vitals (BP, weight, temperature)Perform POC testing (urine pregnancy, urine dipstick)Administer injections (Depo, vaccines)Prepare patients and assist providers during exams and proceduresReview patient history and provide verbal handoff to physiciansLabel and handle specimens accuratelyMaintain clean, safe, and organized exam roomsEnsure proper handling of medical and soiled equipmentDocument patient information using EPIC EMRRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of OBGYN, GYN, or Urogyn experienceGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or LPN equivalent)Active BLS certificationEPIC experience required (Ambulatory or Stork preferred)Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skillsSchedule & Work Details4 days/week | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flex based on provider schedule)No weekends, on-call, or holiday requirementsMonthly scheduling by managerMay float to Brookfield OBGYN clinic (10–15 minutes away) with prior noticeSupport & EnvironmentWork alongside 3 MDs, RNs, and Patient Service RepresentativesOn-site lab and daily management support1–2 weeks of orientation based on experienceAdditional InformationScrubs: Any solid professional color (no prints/logos)Parking: Free on-site
