Executive Protection Operations Manager (Remote)
Operations Manager - Executive Protection, Insider Threats, Intellectual PropertyThe Global Security & Executive Protection (GS&EP) team is seeking an Operations Manager for our Executive Protection (EP) team to serve as the operational backbone behind the safety, efficiency, and readiness of GS&EP's protective services for Cisco's Executive Leadership Team. This role blends financial acumen, complex logistics, and high-trust interpersonal skills.
Due to the nature of this role, individuals hired into the Executive Protection Agent position may be restricted from engaging in outside employment that involves executive or personal protection services, particularly if the activity creates a conflict of interest, interferes with required availability, or could compromise the safety, security, or interests of Cisco or its protectees. Any outside employment must comply with Cisco's conflicts of interest policies and may require prior review and approval.
As an Operations Manager for GS&EP, you will work closely with Executive Protection (EP) Agents, Corporate Finance, Leadership, and external partners to ensure seamless, discreet, and cost-effective operations worldwide.
In this role, you will be working in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment to:
Oversee day-to-day support operations of the EP program
Develop and maintain operational support plans for domestic and international executive travel, events, and special assignments
Own forecasting and ensure projected spend stays aligned with approved budget
Track EP needs and costs related to logistics, travel, equipment, and vendors
Support EP personnel through scheduling, resource planning, and training coordination
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Security Management, Finance, Operations or a related field
8-10 years of experience in operations management, security operations, military/law enforcement support roles, or a similar environment
Experience managing budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, suppliers, and procurement processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization
High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting executive protection or high-profile individuals
Familiarity with global travel security, risk management, or crisis response
Experience working in a large, matrixed, global organization
