Job DescriptionDirector of IT opportunity onsite at the corporate office of our Greensboro area manufacturing client. Client has recently implemented a new cloud-based ERP (Infor M3) to replace legacy systems. Position will be over ERP and Infrastructure/Networking/Security. Should have ERP experience and industry experience in manufacturing, supply chain, consumer goods, or similar. Team size of ~10-12. Looking for someone who can lead the team, get their hands dirty, be with the team, work on efficiency, how to fill gaps in IT, plan/strategic. Full-time/direct-hire position.Job RequirementsManage/ direct all lT applications and Infrastructure Operations and teams, including new cloud-based ERP system.Evaluate business processes and how the system/ team resources can best be used to improve operations.Manage all technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, vendors, and networking systemsDevelop strategy for IT infrastructureDay-to-day operations oversight - data, communication, security, support, etc.Manage projects related to the implementation of new systems and technologiesDevelop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plansDeveloping, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectivesStrategic discussions with Executives to modernize/ optimize IT systems, minimize downtime/ issues, and maintain strong competitive advantageCreate processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systemsMaintain access/ availability to updated systems and training opportunities for all team membersQualificationsExperience and comfort in communicating and negotiating with C-Level Executives.Ability to speak IT to end users who may not "speak" IT (client-facing position)Strong knowledge of network architecture, ERP cloud computing, applications, data center operations, and IT securityExperience with virtualization technologies, enterprise storage systems, and network protocolsExcellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on driving continuous improvementCommunication and collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams and senior managementExperience with Infor M3 ERP system, a plus.Accountable for customer satisfaction through internal and external communicationsAbility to skillfully negotiate with internal and external customers in a friendly, courteous, and helpful mannerProfessional demeanor and communication skillsDisplay positive attitude and strong work ethicApplication of a methodical, “common sense” approach to IT decisions
