Job Description: Manufacturing Operator (Second Shift)We are seeking a Production Engineering/ Operation/mfg. Engineer to join our team in South Plainfield, NJ.Support pre-production and post-production processes, including organizing assets, preparing materials, and updating project trackers.Gather, clean, and organize production-related data from various sources (e.g., performance metrics, workflow logs, content outputs).Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities for optimization.Build simple dashboards or reports to visualize key insights for the production team.Maintain accurate and up-to-date datasets to support decision-making.Analyze production timelines, resource utilization, and throughput to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.Provide weekly or monthly summaries of production performance metrics.Assist in developing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, or output consistency.Maintain organized records and documentation for all assigned tasks.Degree with a mechanical or industrial engineering backgroundBasic proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.Familiarity with analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.Exposure to programming or scripting languages (Python, R, SQL) is helpful but not required.Comfortable working with datasets, performing basic cleaning, and generating simple reports.Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.Good communication skills and ability to work well with engineers and peers.Self-motivated, punctual, and organized.
