Physician Practice Clinical Supervisor- Family Medicine Williamsport
Meritus Medical Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician Practice Clinical Supervisor to support the daily operations of our clinical practice. This leadership role partners closely with the Practice Manager to oversee clinical staff, promote quality patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational excellence.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical knowledge, leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to staff development and patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the daily clinical operations of the physician practiceSupervise and support clinical staff including CMA, LPN, and RN team membersCoordinate staff scheduling, PTO management, and timekeeping reviewLead onboarding, training, mentoring, and ongoing staff development initiativesMaintain laboratory certifications and ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirementsPartner with providers to support:Electronic Health Record (EHR) workflowsQuality metrics and reportingValue-based care initiativesQuality improvement projectsManage clinical supplies and inventorySupport recruitment, retention, and employee engagement effortsPromote effective communication through staff rounding and performance feedbackServe as a patient experience champion and assist in resolving clinical concerns and complaintsProvide direct clinical support to the practice as operational needs requireEducation/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of outpatient clinical experienceLeadership or supervisory experience preferredLicensure/Certification:One of the following qualifications is required:Medical Assistant: Minimum 5 years of Medical Assistant experience; certification preferredLPN: Current Maryland licensure with minimum 2 years of experienceOther licensed clinical specialties (ex: Radiology Technician) with at least 2 years of applicable experience may be consideredSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team-building abilitiesExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environmentCommitment to professionalism, quality care, and employee developmentCaring for Our TeamWe offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.
