Central Buick GMC in Winter Haven is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to join our growing Service Department. We are seeking skilled professionals who take pride in their craft and are ready to hit the ground running. If you are a qualified tech looking for a stable, high-volume shop, we are offering top pay based on your experience and certifications.What We OfferFull-time position, offering competitive pay, benefitsPaid trainingMedical & Dental plansPaid vacationsEmployee discounts in sales & serviceRelocation and Sign-On Bonus may be availableTechnician ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsTechnician Qualifications2+ years of Service Technician experience required, General Motors preferredASE Certification preferredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbout UsIn business since 1974, Central Buick GMC is a proud member of the Huston Automotive Group.
