Mechanical Designer, Power Distribution Equipment
Our client is a growing manufacturer of engineered-to-order power distribution equipment serving mission-critical markets, including data centers, healthcare, and industrial facilities. They are adding an experienced Mechanical Designer to their team to lead mechanical design and integration of low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, skids, and E-Houses.What You Will Be DoingYou will own the mechanical design from early concept and RFQ through production-ready drawing packages, working closely with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain. That means bus layouts, cable routing, GD&T, and full drawing releases in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will also provide hands-on shop floor support, drive DFM/A across the team, and mentor other designers.What They Are Looking For8 or more years of progressive mechanical design experience, with at least 5 years working directly on low-voltage switchgear and power distribution equipment.
