Apply today and start your journey with TAIT!About the RoleWe’re hiring Petroleum Service Technicians—from hands-on learners just starting out to seasoned techs ready to lead. Technicians test, maintain, repair refueling equipment and ensure regulatory compliance for underground and aboveground storage tank systems (USTs/ASTs). You’ll work on fuel system equipment at gas stations, marinas, airports, and more, helping clients meet critical environmental regulations. Training provided.What You’ll DoComplete required training, including 40-hour HAZWOPERPerform compliance tests (spill bucket, vapor recovery, A/B Inspections, etc.)Troubleshoot and repair UST/AST equipmentSubmit reports and timecards using our digital systemCommunicate with clients and represent TAIT professionallyWork independently and follow all safety protocolsWho We’re Looking ForEntry-LevelComfortable traveling & working independentlyMechanical knowledge and experience with hand toolsDependable, detail-oriented and eager to learnBasic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office)Experienced Techs2-4+ years in petroleum, mechanical, or environmental servicesValid/Current ICC UST/AST certification and Veeder Root Install/Removal certificationStrong troubleshooting skills with UST/AST systemsFamiliar with industry regulations and reportsReady to lead projects or mentor othersYou’ll Stand Out If You HaveA proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mileExperience reading and interpreting technical drawings or service manualsExcellent communication skills when working with clients and teammatesPhysical & Additional RequirementsComplete background check, MVR, drug test, and physicalValid driver’s license & clean driving recordAble to climb ladders, kneel, lift heavy lids (with assistance), and work on uneven groundPhysically fit to travel and work in field conditionsSalary and BenefitsSalary range for position: $20/hr. - $40/hr.
