Electrical-Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Florence, SCJob ID: #72590Pay Range: $45-53 an hour12 month contractJob DescriptionThe main function of a hardware Electrical-Mechanical Designer position is responsible for modeling and drawing generation of a wide range of mechanical hardware and components designed for use in elevator systems and Creo Cable and E3 Zuken WD. The candidate should not only be adept at handling typical design tasks (modeling and detailing) but must be able to effectively communicate cross functionally.Job Responsibilities:Provide design support to internal and external customersModify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustnessSupport resolution of engineering issuesDevelop component and system level models and drawingsSupport cost reduction effortsSupport FTB reductionSupport Engineers with 3D studies and prototypingSupport engineering CN processSupport to system level model updatesRole Specific Skills & CompetenciesExperience with Creo 10 or higherProficient in Pro CableProgramming experience using NotepadComponent, Assembly, Subsystem, and System ModelingUse of advanced mathematics techniques for part fitment and design feasibilityExperience with defining welding, GD&T, Tolerancing, material specifications and finishes within drawings and modelsParametric Design and programmingCollaboration with Engineers and internal customersLive Otis Absolutes & foster Inclusion & engagement.Works at pace with multi deliverables.E3 Zuken Wiring DiagramsWork independently with minimal oversite and still deliver to targetCollaborate efficiently with engineersEffectively interpret engineering markups to convey design intent into 3D models and drawingsQuick, Clear, Kind communicationGood interpersonal SkillsBenefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state lawButler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
