In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced front-end applications that enhance our digital offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and back-end developers, to create seamless, innovative, and user-centric digital solutions. Your expertise in Angular and modern web technologies will be instrumental in driving the company's digital transformation initiatives. As a mentor and leader within the team, you will promote best practices, ensure code quality, and stay abreast of emerging industry trends to maintain BNY Mellon's competitive edge in financial technology.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Advanced certifications in front-end development or relevant technologies are advantageous.Typically 5-9 years of professional experience in front-end development.Proficiency in Angular frameworks and associated front-end programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.Experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools like Git is preferred.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of robust, scalable, and high-performance front-end applications using Angular and related technologies.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces.Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow across systems.Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and Angular advancements to incorporate innovative solutions.Mentor junior developers, supporting their professional development and knowledge sharing.Ensure all projects adhere to BNY Mellon's strategic objectives, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the company's digital transformation initiatives.BenefitsBNY Mellon offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees.
