Insurance Defense Attorney | 2–8 Years' ExperienceLocation: New York, NY (Hybrid)Compensation: $120,000 – $185,000 base salary, plus performance-based bonusFirm: National Law Firm Billable Requirement: 1,920 hoursA highly regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its New York office. This position offers the resources and stability of a large firm combined with the close-knit, collaborative environment of a boutique office. The successful candidate will work alongside an established litigation team with a steady pipeline of complex insurance defense matters.Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation, including general liability, labor liability, premises liability, auto insurance, property damage, and product liability mattersHandle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearancesMaintain regular communication with clients, insurance carriers, and co-counselCollaborate with colleagues across the New York office and the firm’s national platformRequirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the New York State Bar2–8 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on insurance defenseStrong analytical, written, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage cases independently while contributing to a team environmentAdditional Information:Hybrid work model (2 days in office) with flexibilityClear opportunities for advancement within a nationally respected firmComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offSupportive and professional team culture with access to mentorship and ongoing developmentIf you meet the criteria or know anyone who does we encourage you to apply.
