ComForCare offers structured training and supervision to help caregivers grow professionally while delivering high-quality care.Role Description This is a flexible, on-site Certified Home Health Aide role based in Freehold, NJ. The Certified Home Health Aide will provide direct support to clients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting changes in client condition, supporting personal hygiene, preparing simple meals, assisting with light housekeeping related to client care, and following care plans as directed by supervisors or licensed Nurse. The role also involves offering companionship, engaging clients in safe, appropriate activities, and promoting client independence where possible. The Home Health Aide will document care provided, communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team, and adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Home Care and in-home support, including working safely and respectfully in clients’ residences.Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe transfers.Experience providing Personal Care and Patient Care, including hygiene support, basic comfort measures, and observing and reporting changes in condition.Strong Communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.Current Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of New Jersey, in good standing.Ability to follow care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with all agency policies and regulations.Reliable transportation to client homes in and around Monmouth County NJ, and the ability to work assigned shifts, including possible evenings or weekends as needed.
