We look forward to having you hitch on and prosper with us.Job SummaryCrossCountry Freight Solutions – a leading LTL trucking company – seeks a dynamic Operations Supervisor for the midnight shift (12am start). The role is exempt, reports to the Service Center Manager, and involves overseeing daily operations, driving safety, and ensuring customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesEnsure dock operations are performed safely and efficiently, overseeing and assisting with loading and unloading of freight.Supervise drivers and oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.Conduct weekly and/or daily meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates and address any issues.Coordinate with personnel to maintain and repair company vehicles.Monitor misrouted and damaged shipments to determine root cause and implement corrective action.Work with customers to resolve freight issues and oversee the quality handling of paperwork.Carry out the job duties of positions supervised to ensure customer service expectations are met.Minimum RequirementsTwo years supervisory and transportation experience.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations preferred.At least 21 years of age.BenefitsMedical, vision, dental, supplemental, and life insurances.Paid time off, paid holidays, paid community volunteer time.401(k) retirement plan.All regular full-time employees are eligible for CrossCountry's benefit package after 30 days of employment.J-18808-Ljbffr
