Machine Operator
*We are hiring for Machine Operators! *
*Machine Operator - 1st Shift | $18/hr | CNC Experience Preffered *
*OneSource Staffing Solutions is currently seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Pittston, PA.*
This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable operating machinery, and have strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Set up, test, and operate production machinery.
* Adjust machine settings such as speed, size, and other production specifications.
* Load materials into machines and ensure materials remain available throughout production.
* Monitor equipment and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
* Inspect products and identify defective materials or components.
* Make minor machine adjustments as needed.
* Clean and recalibrate machinery after production.
* Follow all production specifications and safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Perform additional production duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* High school diploma or GED.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
* *Must be able to read a tape measure and convert fractions to decimals.*
* Basic geometry knowledge is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and safety.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
This is an active manufacturing position requiring standing and walking throughout the shift, along with bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. Candidates must be able to *frequently lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.*
