Test Engineer

We’re hiring a Server Test Engineer to support server hardware testing and validation in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring high quality, reliability, and consistent test execution.What You’ll DoTest and validate server hardware components; execute comprehensive test cyclesCreate and run test plans, test cases, and test scripts to global standardsIdentify, document, and track defects; partner with engineering to drive fixesReview designs/specs and provide feedback from a test/validation perspectiveAnalyze results and deliver clear reports to stakeholdersSet up lab/test infrastructure (core servers, switches, rack cabling)Troubleshoot test issues using Python and Bash/Shell toolsWhat You Bring (Required)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field3+ years of server hardware testing experienceStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyNice to HaveKnowledge of x86 Intel server architecture and/or ARM + NVIDIA GPU technologiesDeep understanding of BIOS/UEFI and BMC validation (Redfish, PLDM, IPMI)Familiarity with server components (CPU, memory, PSU, motherboard, etc.)Experience with Windows Server, RHEL/SUSE, VMwareNetworking fundamentals (IP, routing, MAC, port troubleshooting)Ability to configure PXE, DHCP, and related servicesBackground in manufacturing/production test environmentsWork SetupOnsite in Whitsett, NCStandard full-time schedule (40 hrs/week)
