This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This individual will assist in the definition, planning, organizing, directing and controlling risk and opportunity management efforts. This position manages the risk process, and is not a people manager position.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesEvaluates and approves risk and opportunity handling approaches, mitigation plans and approves opportunity exploitation plans.Coordinates with suppliers, vendors, higher level managers, and external Customers on general risk and opportunity metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the risk and opportunity management process and procedures.Organizes and conducts meetings to facilitate communication and execution of the risk and opportunity management process.Assures integration of the EVMS process with the risk and opportunity management process.Informs and advises higher level management on critical project risks and mitigations. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic QualificationsRisk Management Analyst: 2 Years experience with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Principal Risk Management Analyst: 5 Years experience with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 year with PhD or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.For Both3 Year Experience presenting to groups in a professional setting.3 Year Experience supporting DOD Programs.4 Year Experience analyzing data and reporting to decision makers.Must be able to understand and articulate Risk Management concepts.Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with MS Excel.Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.6+ Months experience using risk management tools and dashboards.Must be able to understand and articulate Risk Management concepts.Preferred QualificationsControl Account Manager (CAM) Certified or Training in progressProgram Integration and Risk Management experienceExperience presenting to upper-level managementBackground in Leading teamsExperienced in Risk Management Processes and ToolsetsPMP CertificationExperience using MS Excel to analyze data or conduct monthly reconciliation including vlookups, pivots, sumifs.Current DoD Top Secret ClearanceExperience supporting DOD ProgramsCurrently Sentinel Program AccessedExperience in Business Management #SentinelprogmgmtPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
