Proposal Engineer – Electrical Power Systems | Remote (US) | OEM ProviderWe're hiring a Proposal Engineer to join a fast-growing OEM Provider in the electrical equipment space, supporting hyperscaler, data center, and other major clients with technical proposals for medium- and low-voltage power distribution equipment.If you've spent your career translating customer requirements and one-line diagrams into winning technical proposals for switchgear, transformers, breakers, or generators and you want a bigger seat at the table with a company scaling quickly, this is worth a conversation.What you'll do:Translate customer and hyperscaler requirements into technical, commercially competitive proposalsLead design and implementation discussions directly with clients, contractors, and consulting engineersDevelop RFP responses and technical submittals for projects ranging from $10M to $250MWork cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to shape winning bidsWhat we're looking for:Electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in medium- and low-voltage systems, transformers, breakers, and switchgear (high-voltage/substation experience not required)Proven experience developing technical proposals, RFP responses, or bid packagesComfortable being customer-facing — presenting solutions, building trust with clients, and leading technical conversations (this one matters a lot to us)Background from data centers, semiconductor facilities, airports, large commercial projects, or other critical infrastructure — data center experience is a plus but not essentialMust be based in the United States (fully remote)Compensation & benefits:Base salary: $150,000Bonus pool eligibilityProject-based commissionFully remote, no travel requiredWhy join now:A fast-growing team at a real inflection point, with genuine ownership over major proposals and a clear path to grow as the business scales.
