This acute care unit is made up of 24 beds. Coworkers in this department specialize in the care of stroke patients and are cross trained to work with a combination of other patient populations. Our nursing team members are honored to be an important part of the Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center team, and are encouraged to become NIH or SCRN certified. On this unit you can expect a dedicated focus on professional development and personal growth. This unit provides a great foundation for those looking to grow their nursing skill set.
