Role : Senior Rail Procurement Logistics ManagerLocation : Clinton, Maryland, United StatesJob Type : Full-timeABOUT THE ROLEOne of our clients is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager of Rail Procurement Logistics to lead strategy across a transportation network spanning rail, road, and marine. This individual will manage Class I railroad relationships, develop sourcing plans, and drive cost optimization and sustainability across North America.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHEstablish procurement strategies that drive cost savings and service reliability.Design multi-year sourcing plans including volume commitments and index strategies.Analyze transportation performance to identify cost drivers and operational improvements.Coordinate economic development and lane expansion with rail carriers.Deliver data-driven insights to executive leadership for contract negotiations.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.Experience: 10+ years in logistics, supply chain analytics, or rail/trucking market management.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.Competencies: Proven track record in transportation pricing and customer negotiations.Travel: 25% travel requirements.PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTSAdherence to safety protocols during site visits.
