As General Manager, you will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining high-quality food and customer service standards, and managing team performance. Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling budgets, managing inventory, planning promotions, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a collaborative work environment. You will work closely with the team to drive success and achieve overall business goals.QualificationsProven leadership and management experience, including team supervision, performance management, and staff developmentExpertise in restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and workflow optimizationStrong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze operational metricsFamiliarity with wine is a plusKnowledge of events management and oversightKnowledge of Toast and management of reservation systems, including OpenTable.Quickbooks management.Excellent organizational and decision-making skills to handle day-to-day challenges effectivelyCommitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiencesExperience in health, safety, and food compliance standardsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members, guests, and vendorsA degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is a plusPrevious experience in managing a café, bistro, or similar restaurant environment is highly desirableAble to work late eveningsA proactive, hands-on, and results-driven approach to leadership
