Position: Mechanical EngineerLocation: Onsite in Austin, TXType: Direct Hire - FTE** No Corp to Corp **Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced hardware systems used in high-performance computing environments. This role is hands-on and lab-focused, with an emphasis on designing reliable, manufacturable mechanical solutions for demanding operating conditions.What You'll DoDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies from concept through prototypeCreate detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD toolsSupport hands-on builds, testing, and iterative improvements in a lab environmentCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teamsLead or participate in design reviewsSelect materials and design for durability in controlled, high-density hardware environmentsOptimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturabilityWhat We're Looking For7+ years of mechanical engineering experience focused on product developmentBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldStrong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks or equivalent)Experience with sheet metal, chassis design, and injection-molded componentsFamiliarity with electromechanical and serviceable hardware assembliesExposure to FEA and design-for-manufacturing principlesAbility to take ownership in a fast-moving engineering environment
