A well-established manufacturing company in the Greensboro, NC area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess full-cycle accounts payable, including high-volume invoice entry
Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and approvals
Resolve vendor discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
Assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
Maintain vendor files, including W-9s and payment details
Support month-end close and account reconciliations
Partner with purchasing, receiving, and operations teams
Qualifications3+ years of accounts payable experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
Experience with high-volume invoice processing
Strong understanding of PO-based invoicing and matching
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar)
Solid Excel skills (data entry, lookups, basic formulas)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
