Kids Technical Designer

Our Client is a Must have Kidswear company seeking a Technical Designer to join their growing team. The Technical Designer will manage the technical development process for Kids Sleepwear as well as some adults. This person will be responsible for fit samples, approvals, revisions, and ensuring all garments meet quality standards and customer expectations.Onsite 5 days NYC Salary: 70-80k DOETechnical Designer Responsibilities:Track and manage all fit samples and approvals throughout the development processEvaluate garment fit and construction and recommend solutions across multiple categoriesReview fit samples with leadership and implement feedback into revisions and updatesPartner with costing to ensure construction and design align with cost targetsCreate and update tech packs, measurements, and detailed fit commentsCommunicate clearly with factories and internal teams to resolve technical issuesManage workflow and deadlines while staying organized across multiple projectsPivot quickly between adult sleepwear, intimates, and kids sleepwearIdeal Background:3+ years experience as a Technical Designer within kids apparelStrong fit knowledge, garment construction expertise, and problem-solving skillsComfortable in a fast-paced, small company environment and wearing multiple hatsAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with leadershipExcellent communication and organizational skillsProactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
