Medical Lab Technician - MLT (Hiring Immediately)

Location: 449 West 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405 Position Name: Medical Lab Technician Available Shifts: Days ( 7A-7:30P with Rotating Weekends) Nights (7P-7:30A with Rotating Weekends) Facility is a 238-bed acute care hospital. For 40 years, we have served Bay County and the surrounding communities. We are an accredited facility offering comprehensive care. This includes advanced cardiac assessment and treatment. We offer certified women's services. Our hospital has dedicated spaces for adult and pediatric emergency services. We are certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care. Our hospital is accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center. We are the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. Other services that we offer include orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. We are home to the only Pediatric ER in the community. We have the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region. Together, we continue to raise the bar in healthcare. In this role you will: Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology. Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results. Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment. Job Requirements: Medical laboratory experience preferred. As long as candidate has state license as generalist (or qualifies for one)- they are willing to train based on any years of experience had. High School Diploma or equivalent required Associates Degree or higher is preferred MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required State of Florida Medical Laboratory Technician License Sign on: ***K Relocation Assistance: Case by Case Fee: 20%
