Senior Software EngineerWest Palm Beach Area, FL (hybrid)A fast-growing healthcare technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build a cutting-edge health diagnostics platform focused on delivering predictive, personalized insights through advanced data and cloud technologies.This role will focus on developing and maintaining mission-critical cloud applications and scalable backend systems that support innovative health and analytics solutions.The Senior Software Engineer is a full-stack, highly hands-on role that leans heavily on back-end development. This individual will play a key role in building and scaling core systems while contributing to architecture and technical design.This is not a management role—it's ideal for someone who enjoys coding daily while also mentoring others and influencing technical direction. You will work closely with the Lead Software Architect and other cross-functional teams. The role includes:Designing and building APIs and backend servicesWorking with large datasets and collaborating with data scientistsContributing to system architecture and scalable designPerforming code reviews and mentoring junior engineersParticipating in a wide range of greenfield projectsGiven the early-stage nature of the product (pre-full public launch), engineers will work across evolving priorities, making this a strong fit for someone who thrives in dynamic, build-from-scratch environments.Key Qualifications8+ years of software engineering experienceStrong backend development skills, ideally in Python (C#/.NET is a plus), but Python is a must-haveExperience building APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)Cloud experience (AWS preferred, as they recently moved from Azure to AWS)Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments requiredStrong system design and problem-solving skillsProven ability to mentor and collaborate effectivelyHealthcare experience is a plus, but not required.Why This RoleThis is an opportunity to join a well-funded, mission-driven health startup at an early stage—where you can remain deeply technical while helping shape the product, architecture, and engineering culture.
