Lead Calibration Technician

Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data. Reviews all documented results of quality assurance and control processes. Develops methods and procedures for calibration. Responsible for performing on-site calibration activities and managing a calibration program which also involves coordinating with outside vendors.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstablishes set protocols and procedures, and completes specialized tasks that require the exchange of detailed technical or sensitive informationLeads all gauge calibration activities in compliance with company and government regulationsProvides guidance to operators on inspection methods, metrology, gauging, etc.Performs other duties as assignedAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policiesEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Required Skills / CapabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIntermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and WordSolid understanding of good documentation practices and record retention strategies, as well as an understanding of the requirements to work in a Cleanroom/Sterile packaging environmentProficient with ASME Y14.5M GD&T and blueprint readingPerform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485Education and ExperienceTypically requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredAmerican Society for Quality Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) desirableOur ValuesOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.Passionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
