Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role plays a critical part in guiding business decisions through comprehensive financial and operational analysis. The successful candidate will possess strong experience within the hospitality or gaming sector and a proven ability to leverage data to improve operational efficiency, labor performance, and overall profitability. This position partners closely with operational leadership and senior executives to evaluate performance and provide actionable recommendations that strengthen the property's financial health. Key Responsibilities:Operational & Strategic Analysis:Evaluate business operations to identify efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and margin enhancement opportunities. Provide leadership with actionable recommendations based on operational and financial findings. Cross-Department Reporting:Collaborate with department leaders to collect operational data and analyze performance trends. Produce meaningful reports that support informed management decisions. Financial Reporting & Forecasting:Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements and performance analyses. Develop cash-flow projections and long-range forecasts for executive leadership. Labor & Productivity Review:Analyze labor metrics against occupancy levels, business demand, and industry benchmarks. Recommend staffing adjustments that improve productivity and service delivery. Budget Development:Lead preparation of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets. Work with department managers and HR to ensure accurate financial planning. Candidate Requirements:Education & Experience:Minimum five (5) years of financial analysis experience within the hospitality or gaming industry. Minimum five (5) years of accounting experience. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Skills & Competencies:Financial Analysis: Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Data Systems: Familiarity with databases and business intelligence platforms, including Tableau. Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Tableau or Power BI visualization tools. Direct experience working with hospitality or gaming management systems (CMS) and HRIS platforms.
