Field CTORemote - United StatesJR012871About the role and what you'll be doing:As an Ensono Field CTO, you are a senior, client-facing architect who drives technical innovation, transformation, and long-term value for our largest and most strategic clients.In this role, you will partner closely with client executives, senior technologists, Sales, Consulting, Product Management, and Service teams to understand business drivers and corporate objectives, then design and lead the execution of complex, multi-year hybrid IT and cloud transformation initiatives.You will serve as the technical owner of client solution designs—from early discovery through implementation—while acting as a trusted advisor who influences strategy, builds executive confidence, and helps identify and close strategic growth opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Sales and Consulting partners to develop pursuit, solution, and sales strategies for large, global client accountsLead discovery and assessment workshops to identify client needs, opportunities, and transformation roadmapsDesign, document, and present complex hybrid IT, cloud, and hosting solutions that meet both technical and business requirementsPresent solutions and business cases to diverse audiences, including executive and senior leadership stakeholdersGain executive-level buy-in by confidently positioning complex, multi-disciplinary solutionsAct as a trusted advisor by providing recommendations based on deep technical expertise and prior experiencePartner with Product Management to influence product enhancements and technology roadmap decisionsLead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams throughout the engagement lifecycleDrive stability, innovation, and modernization across clients' current and future-state environmentsSupport business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing strategic opportunities and expanding existing accountsWhat You Will Need:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or equivalent role in the hosting and network space (service provider experience strongly preferred)Proven experience managing complex, multi-phase projects through the full lifecycle while maintaining high client satisfactionStrong understanding of large-scale hosting, IaaS, datacenter outsourcing, and hybrid IT solutionsExpertise across hosting technologies including compute, storage, backup, networking, security, disaster recovery, DevOps, and IT governanceExperience engaging in executive- and senior-level technical discussionsStrong documentation skills with the ability to clearly capture solution architectures and technical decisionsExcellent organizational, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to remain resourceful, confident, and effective under pressure, including crisis and expectation managementProficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioBonus QualificationsHands-on experience with hyperscale cloud platforms such as AWS and/or AzureCloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure)Experience with large, complex ITO or outsourcing sales cyclesBackground in leading enterprise-scale cloud migration and re-platforming initiativesWe are a client-facing business, but we do encourage clients to allow us to work remotely most of the time so if you are not required to be on a client site, you can choose to work from home or in our Ensono offices.Some of our benefits include:Unlimited Paid Days OffThree health plan options401k with company matchEligibility for dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life and AD&D coverage, and flexible spending accountsFamily Forming Benefit including fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy reimbursementPaid childbearing and paternal leaveEducation Reimbursement, Student Loan Assistance or 529 College FundingSabbatical leaveWellness programFlexible work scheduleAs of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $151,000 to $257,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs.
