Deliver expert emergency care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Department, supporting a busy 32-bed unit dedicated to medical, trauma, and mental health patients. The location is ideal for professionals seeking a well-balanced work-life rhythm in a supportive environment.Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population including medical, trauma, and mental health casesManage patient assessments, treatments, and monitoring with a focus on safety and qualityCollaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plansUtilize EMR systems (Epic) for accurate documentation and communicationAdhere to facility protocols and dress code standards, wearing navy scrubsParticipate in required onboarding education modules before start dateQualifications:Minimum 3 years of RN experience, preferably in emergency careCurrent certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS; TNCC certification preferredSkilled in trauma care across the lifespan (pediatric to adult)Ability to maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 or as needed in low acuity casesStrong team player capable of effective communication and collaborationSchedule & Contract Details:Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PMApproximately 36 guaranteed hours per weekEvery other weekend shift rotationContract positionThis role offers a challenging yet rewarding practice environment equipped with Level I fluid warmers and supported by a professional leadership team.
