Job Description PARAMEDICS / EMT'SJOB OPPORTUNITY:Kansas City’s industry leader in on-site Special Event Medical Services is hiring energetic, loyal and professional RN’s, Paramedic’s and EMT’s to join TEAM KC MEDICAL, INC. as our business continues to grow and expand locally and nationally.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**TEAM KC MEDICAL, INC. provides on-site EMS to the Bartle Hall, Legends Field, Midland Theatre, Power & Light District, Cable Dahmer Arena, Aruza Amphitheatre, Starlight Theatre, Uptown Theatre, Grinders KC, American Royal and most of the areas festivals just to name a few. As a team member, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:Provide friendly, premier customer service and first aid to all patrons attending our events.To provide first aid to all medical emergencies to all patrons with injuries and illnesses, while upholding state, local and company medical protocols.Activate the local 9-1-1 system on patrons requiring ALS transport to an area hospital.Provide proper and accurate written patient care reports (PCR).To be a positive ambassador to our venues with legal ADA knowledge and handling.To maintain proper stocking of medical supplies and equipment in our First Aid Rooms and portable EMS bags.Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.Perform other job related duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be certified as a current EMT or Paramedic issued by the Kansas and Missouri Board of Emergency Medical ServicesMust be certified as a current EMT or Paramedic issued by the National Registry.Must possess and maintain a current American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers certification, and ACLS if certified as a Paramedic.Must have good means of transportation.Must be available to work at least 5 events per month.Must show good communication skills and professionalism.APPLY ON-LINE AT www.kcmedical.net UNDER THE EMPLOYMENT TAB.**KC MEDICAL, INC.
