Your recruiter will provide the most up–to–date details during the hiring process.How you'll make an impact in this roleAscensionSacred Heart is looking for a BC/BE Neurosurgery Physician for our Panama City location.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Sacred Heart Bay to pr ovide medical services to patients.Position Highlights:Ascension Sacred Heart is a Fortune Top 15 Health SystemLevel II Trauma CenterJoin an established, respected neurosurgery teamLive and work on the beautiful Gulf Coast of FloridaResponsibilities:Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management.Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.Accept patient referrals from other physicians. Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested.Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
