In this role, you will travel extensively to customer sites Nationwide to conduct surveys, support equipment installations, and ensure systems meet specifications and quality standards. You will serve as a trusted resource for customers, guiding them on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Meritech, CFS, and related products. Additionally, you will help identify opportunities for product growth, coordinate with the Sales Team, and contribute to process improvements that enhance installation efficiency and overall customer satisfaction.Who You AreThis role would be a great fit if you enjoy: Traveling and meeting new peopleManaging and building strong customer relationships. Coordinating projects and ensuring smooth end-to-end executionProviding excellent customer education, onsite support, and serviceWhat You DoA typical day as Installation Specialist might include: Traveling to customer sites in and out of state to conduct surveys, support installation of Meritech and CFS equipment, and ensure systems are operating to manufacturer specificationsPerforming onsite duties assigned by the Technical Service Manager and serving as a resource to help customers understand equipment functionality, maintenance requirements, and proper useProviding onsite training or workshops for customer teams to ensure product knowledge, education, and safe operationIdentifying opportunities for additional Meritech and CFS products, building relationships on site, and coordinating with the Sales Team to support growthTroubleshooting and correcting equipment malfunctions or defects, documenting issues in our CRM, and reporting findings to OperationsCoordinating installations remotely when direct onsite support isn’t possible, including communication with customers and local service providers such as plumbersAssisting with technical support for Meritech, Lafferty, and Knight products as requests ariseReviewing design specifications to understand product scope, requirements, and functionalityEnsuring products meet quality and integrity standards while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of protective equipmentMaintaining inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and communicating needs to supervisors in a timely mannerSupporting root cause analysis for product defects and implementing corrective actions as neededUsing various machines and hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficientlyWhat We OfferAs a Meritech team member, you’ll receive:$60,000 - $65,000 annual salary to start, payroll every other ThursdayA comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and 401(k) with company contributions3 weeks annually of paid-time-off and sick leave accrual, with increases based on tenure. Paid company holidays. Job RequirementsWe’re looking for someone who is:Experienced with plumbing, mechanical, and electrical operations (2+ years preferred). Familiar with machine maintenance. Willing and able to travel regularly for work, up to 100% of the time. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or recordsDetail-oriented and consistentSkilled at communication to clearly and professionally articulate expectations and needs with customersAble to read and understand blueprints and schematicsProficient in English reading, writing, and basic mathematics, (high school diploma or GED equivalent)In possession of an active, valid driver's license. Able to regularly perform the following physical requirements, with or without accommodations: Frequently: Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to evaluate, test, and modify equipment with or without hand tools as needed Frequently: Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components Frequently: Prolonged periods of standing and moving about in various customer environments Occasionally: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Occasionally: Must be able to crouch, bend, and lean to inspect equipmentMeritech Employee Management, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
