This is a Substitute Bus Monitor position for the 2025-2026 school yearPay is $15.25 an hour.See attached Job Description for assignment detailsPrimary Purpose:Ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities.Qualifications:High School DiplomaClear and valid Texas Commercial Driver's LicenseEither or both endorsements preferred, not required: Passenger (P) School Bus (S)Special Knowledge/Skills:Must be 18 years of ageAbility to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical examAbility to complete required bus driver safety trainingAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to manage student behaviorAbility to communicate effectively with othersAbility to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipmentSubstitute Bus Monitors are not assigned a route or regularly scheduled duties.
