Our community has been family owned and operated for over 60 years and is located on a beautiful wooded campus dedicated to serving our residents and staff.At Anna Maria of Aurora, our maintenance team plays an important role in creating a safe, comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.Healthcare, skilled nursing facility, or nursing home maintenance experience is strongly preferred.Available Positions:We are currently hiring for two Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Assistant positions.The full-time position is scheduled 8:30 AM 5:00 PM, five days per week, and includes an every other weekend rotation.The part-time position has a set schedule with varying hours, and the specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.Benefits & Perks:Benefits offered include an attendance bonus, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, accident and disability insurance, identity theft protection, pet insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, paid training, growth opportunities, employee appreciation events, ongoing campus celebrations, and more.Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:Perform general facility maintenance and repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical workComplete preventative maintenance and respond to repair requestsAssist with upkeep of the building, equipment, and grounds including landscaping, sweeping, and snow removalMonitor maintenance needs throughout the skilled nursing facilityReport equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptlyMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repairsFollow all Anna Maria of Aurora policies and proceduresQualificationsMaintenance Technician / Maintenance Assistant QualificationsPrevious maintenance experience required; skilled nursing facility, nursing home, or healthcare experience strongly preferredKnowledge of general building maintenance and repairAbility to perform physical work indoors and outdoorsReliable, team-oriented, and safety conscious
