We are looking for a dynamic, enterprising individual to add to our growing business.EXCELLENT BENEFIT PACKAGEMEDICAL INSURANCE ON THE FIRST DAY WORKEDTIME OFF ELIGIBILITY ON THE FIRST DAY WORKEDEHS Specialist will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.Duties/Responsibilities:Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risksDevelops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspectionsDevelops health and safety procedures for all areas of the companyPrepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topicsMonitors compliance with safety proceduresDrafts inspection reports to document inspection findingsRequired Skills/Abilities:Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspectionsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field requiredTwo to Five years of related experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspectionsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a timeGuild Associates is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Powered by JazzHRi9dxpaKfaq
