Job Title: Research Engineer IV
Location: Greenville, TX
Minimum Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
Travel: Up to 10% CONUS travel
This position is responsible for providing expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems while resolving highly complex technical issues and conducting advanced research.
Who You Are and What You Need:
Master's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science or related field with mathematical knowledge sufficient to independently model operationally and technically complex problems is required
Doctorate or appropriate Post-Master's education is preferred
Twenty-five (25) or more years experienced in related field including 15 years of senior-level technical supervisory or management experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Previous experience performing the following: managing overall technical scope, cost, staffing, production and deliverables from a major or prime contract level program, including multiple research projects simultaneously
Experience in managing a combination of individuals with varying technical skills
Ability to work with others and provide direction to others
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
What You Will Do:
Establish and lead multi-disciplinary team in conducting independent performance analyses, system requirements and tactics refinements while providing system enhancement recommendations and system engineering support for complex special mission sensors, systems and architectures.
Plan, design, develop and execute sensor/system/architecture models and simulations to support sensor/system performance analyses. Products include concept definitions, feasibility studies, technology trade studies, requirements development, analyses, performance and simulation development.
This position is responsible for supervising Research Engineer I, II, and III.
