We are looking for a Member Relations Specialist - Floater to provide excellent customer service to our members in Chesterfield County, SC and our customers in Marlboro County, SC. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales and interpersonal skills, a high degree of adaptability, and a commitment to serving others, all while maintaining a can-do attitude. Duties · Provides excellent customer service and tier-1 technical support/troubleshooting· Maintains and updates customer records through the normal course of customer contact· Informs and advises customers on communication services and products that fit their needs including phone, internet, TV, security, and home automation· Coordinates with inside and outside plant departments to process customer service orders· Processes payments and balances cash drawer· Other customer-focused efforts as directed by managementKnowledge & Skills· Knowledge of products and services· Knowledge of company policies and procedures· Problem-solving skills and abilities· Excellent communication skills· Basic mathematical skills· Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments· Ability to pay close attention to detail· Ability to work independently· Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand· Ability to create a team environment and sustain employee moraleEducation & ExperienceEducation: High School Diploma required Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of customer service/sales experience required. Telecommunications experience preferred. Physical & Environmental Requirements· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, depending on work environment and job duties· Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers and team members· Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 15–25 pounds· Capability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, data entry, and handling paperwork· Visual ability to read computer screens, printed materials, and product information· Ability to move about the workspace to assist customers, access files, or collaborate with team members· Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company dress code· Typically operates in an office, retail, or call center setting with moderate noise levels· May involve interaction with customers in person, over the phone, or via digital communication channelsAdditional InformationSandhill offers competitive hourly wages and an excellent benefit package to include generous PTO allowance, health, vision & dental care, 401k, retirement, and discounted employee services.
