Location:Fully onsite near Warsaw, Indiana
Compensation:$150,000–$180,000 base salaryPosition Overview
The Business Unit Controller will serve as a key financial leader responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations for a large, multi-site business unit. This role partners closely with operations leadership to drive performance, ensure financial integrity, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings a strong operational mindset, experience managing complex P&Ls, and the ability to influence across functions in a manufacturing environment (food, agriculture, or automotive preferred).ResponsibilitiesLead all financial activities for a multi-site business unit, including full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for a P&L exceeding $150MPartner with operations leadership to drive performance improvements, cost control initiatives, and strategic decision-making across locationsOversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standardsDevelop, mentor, and lead accounting/finance teams across multiple sites, fostering collaboration and continuous improvementImplement and enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting to support operational efficiency and business growthEnsure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)Minimum of 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership roles in manufacturing environmentsProven experience managing multiple sites and direct ownership of a P&L of at least $150MIndustry experience in food, agriculture, or automotive requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholdersDemonstrated leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing teamsOperational mindset with a hands-on approach to problem solving and process improvement#LI-ONSITE #LI-SH1 #INAPR2026 #BU #controller #businessunit #accountant #accounting #agricultureClick here to apply online
