Experienced Paralegal (Hybrid – Primarily Remote) Boutique Law Firm | Boston AreaWe are a boutique law firm concentrating in complex civil litigation, condominium law, and landlord–tenant matters. We are seeking a seasoned, highly organized, and proactive paralegal with 5–7+ years of experience who can make an immediate and meaningful contribution to our practice and our clients. Our partners and attorneys have young families, and we are intentional about maintaining a healthy, respectful, and sustainable work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be comfortable managing files independently and supporting attorneys from case inception through resolution. Responsibilities include:Litigation SupportDrafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondenceManaging e-filing in Massachusetts state courts (including District Court, Housing Court, Superior Court, and Appeals Court)Calendaring deadlines and maintaining litigation timelinesCoordinating service of processPreparing exhibits, affidavits, and trial notebooksAssisting with trial and hearing preparationCondominium & Real Estate MattersAssisting with document review related to condominium governance and enforcementPreparing demand letters and enforcement-related filingsCoordinating lien filings and collection-related documentationSupporting transactional and governance matters as neededLandlord–Tenant PracticePreparing summary process complaints and related filingsManaging notices to quit and statutory compliance documentationTracking Housing Court procedures and deadlinesCommunicating with clients regarding case status and required documentationAdministrative & Case ManagementMaintaining and organizing digital case filesManaging document workflows and internal systemsClient communication and intake coordinationSupporting billing processes and time entry (as applicable)Ensuring compliance with court rules and procedural requirementsQualificationsRequired:5–7+ years of paralegal experience (litigation experience required)Strong familiarity with Massachusetts court procedures and e-filing systemsExcellent drafting skills and attention to detailHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and cloud-based document systemsPreferred:Experience in condominium law, real estate litigation, or landlord–tenant mattersFamiliarity with time and billing softwareParalegal certificate or equivalent experienceWork Environment & CulturePrimarily remote, with one in-office day per weekFlexible, professional, and respectful team environmentDirect access to attorneys and meaningful involvement in case strategySubstantive work — not just administrative supportA culture that values autonomy, accountability, and collaborationA firm that genuinely respects personal time and family commitmentsCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $80k-$100k401k Plan After one year of servicePaid time off and holidaysProfessional development supportOpportunity for long-term growth within the firm
