Answers, screens, and routes telephone.Performs general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Creates various reports and documents.Communicates with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patientPerforms unit safety Assists with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate.May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staffMay assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean anLicensure/Certification/RegistrationPreferred Credential(s):BLS Provider EducationHigh school diploma or GED or a minimum of three (3) years’ experience required.Required Skills And AttributesAbility to organize and establish day-to-day priorities while using critical thinking skills in all aspects of the job.Must be able to multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed and positive.Excellent customer service skillsDisplays integrity, friendliness, and compassion.Must be able to establish an appropriate and effective rapport with others.Demonstrates flexibilityTakes initiativeAble to work in a fast-paced environmentEmbrace new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Proficient with various Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).Strong organizational skills.Effective interpersonal skills.
