Cultivation Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cannabis Cultivation Assistant to join our premier cannabis company. As a Cannabis Cultivation Assistant, you will play a vital role in the cultivation and production of high-quality cannabis products. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks throughout the cultivation process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a clean and efficient cultivation facility. Responsibilities: 1. Cultivation Operations: - Assist in the cultivation process, including planting, watering, defoliating, pruning, and harvesting cannabis plants. - Monitor and maintain plant health, identifying and addressing any signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies. - Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plant care, nutrient application, and environmental controls. - Adhere to proper sanitation and hygiene practices to prevent contamination and maintain a clean cultivation facility. - Assist with the setup and maintenance of irrigation systems, lighting, and other cultivation equipment. 2. Compliance and Documentation: - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines related to cannabis cultivation. - Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities, including plant inventory, cultivation inputs, and production data. - Assist with regular inventory audits and compliance reporting as required by regulatory agencies. - Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices. 3. Facility Maintenance and Safety: - Assist with general maintenance tasks, including cleaning, organization, and upkeep of cultivation areas and equipment. - Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies to ensure a safe working environment. - Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor. Requirements: -High school diploma or equivalent - Valid MED badge. - Previous experience in cannabis cultivation is required. - Knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques, including plant care, pruning, and harvesting. - Familiarity with cannabis cultivation equipment and systems, such as irrigation, lighting, and climate control. - Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the cannabis industry. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow SOPs accurately. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues. - Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy loads. - Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
