Both daytime and nocturnist positions are available and the schedule is 7 days off/7 days on, with daytime shift of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and nocturnist shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Responsibilities include ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting the results, order appropriate interventions, therapies, medications and other treatment modalities, and establish preventive health practices for patients. Collect, record, and maintain details of the patients' histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, assessments, management plans and treatment outcomes. H1 and J1 candidates are welcome to apply. This hospital is a major teaching affiliate of a large Medical School in CT and there is the option of resident teaching, clinical professorship title and potential for advancement.
