Details Position is in a pediatric stepdown/ICU unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) Level I trauma facility Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license required Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — AHA-issued certifications only Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required ICU experience required Level I trauma experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Proficiency in professional nursing theory, techniques, and procedures Basic computer skills required Additional Information Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments Monitors physiological data, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Educates patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted Workers who have previously completed a contract at this facility may only extend once (up to 26 total weeks); a 6-month separation period is required before beginning a new contract thereafter Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon offer acceptance American Traveler Job ID P-680157.
