DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Blanchester, Ohio. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to manage month-end processes effectively.Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to support audits and compliance requirements.- Collaborate on financial planning and analysis (FP& A) tasks to provide actionable insights for decision-making.- Document and maintain financial processes, policies, and procedures to support organizational efficiency.- Support financial reporting activities, including the preparation of detailed reports for stakeholders.- Assist in the preparation and review of audit documentation to meet external audit requirements.Requirements- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions.- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.- Familiarity with preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.- Proficiency in documenting financial processes and maintaining accurate records.- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Advanced knowledge of accounting systems and tools; experience with AS400 is a plus.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
