Process Engineer

Role Overview: A mid-senior Process Engineer specializing in liquid/fluid processing within the food, beverage, and dairy industries.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport sales, engineering, commissioning, and process system optimization from initial customer engagement through project completion.Design and improve equipment configurations, process flows, and systems to meet standards and customer objectives.Develop process diagrams (BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs), specifications, and operational descriptions.Lead software FAT, plan test procedures, and support commissioning and troubleshooting activities.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards, including safety evaluations like HAZOP.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, evaluate third-party proposals, and support pre- and post-sale customer interactions.Train customer personnel, conduct plant audits, and provide ongoing technical support for process improvements.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.2-10+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in food, dairy, or beverage processing, with liquid processing expertise.Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally.Additional Details: Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $120,000 annually, with benefits including health coverage, PTO, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, wellness incentives, and more.
